Family party news from Barbara
This was taken by Mohan's lovely daughter Jade who is on the right of the photo in black. Hope you all can distinguish who is who (click on the photo for an enlargement!)
Several were missing, mainly the Mahabir faction; we were expecting 8 of them but only Vish could make it. Cynthia and Denny had already visited Nyuk when she went up to see A Dru. U Prana's eldest daughter and partner had hoped to come but could not make it. Chris, Louise and Noah wanted to be here but had another engagement. Darrie and family were on the way to Malaysia. Kishore, A Rani's grandson who is visiting UK wanted to be here, but was ill and so David was keeping him company.

Romesh, please note, for food, we had roast lamb, curried chicken, roast chicken, rice and gunga peas, white rice, spinach, salad. A Rani also brought Dhal and roti(ready to cook) but all had already eaten. Mum, A Neil, Olivia, Nauth and myself contributed to the cooking as did the local supermarket! The younger children (Sarah downwards except Sunil) had pizzas. For dessert we had tropical fruit, papaya, orange, banana marinaded in sugar and lime juice and topped off with a goodly splash of Rumona (jamaica rum liqueur). Also an enormous american style double layered sponge cake with thick frosting(compliments of Costco). Sparkling red and white wine to drink which we brought from France. Later on Nyuklan, Vish and Ben did us Margaritas.
Lots of left over food as we had catered for a much larger number.
