News from the Eastern side of the Atlantic

Nyuklan and children arrived on Sunday after spending some time in Switzerland, Germany and France respectively. They seemed to have had a wonderful time climbing mountains in the Swiss Alps and doing all the tourist things. Now it was time to see the sights of London. They are staying with Barbara. Plans are to go sightseeing in London on Tuesday and then on Wednesday go for a trip to the Cotswold and other places, spending the night in Northampton and then moving on to Cambridge and back to London onThursday night.

However within hours of arriving, young Henry managed to get a small gash on his right foot near his ankle. We considered taking him to hospital but it was treated at home with antiseptic cream and a plaster. Earlier today (Monday), we took him to our local GP who provided treatment. After that Henry seemed to be much more relaxed. As Nyuklan said "He is going to live."

Abigail, Louise and Helen are having a wonderful time together. I'm sure Abigail wishes she was out of school so that she could spend more time with them and Henry. But she has another week of school to go. Sarah has been quite pleasant and I would say that she enjoyed her time with the family yesterday.

Bye for now,
Nauth
